The National Agency for Community Programmes in the Field of Education and Vocational Training (ANPCDEFP)

Yes, we are aware it’s a pretty long name and one that is not that easy to remember. Most often we are known as 'the people from Erasmus+ and EEA' and, in the past, as 'the agents from Socrates, Leonardo or Youth in action'.

We are over 70 people who strongly believe in their vocation as a public servants and we understand that transformation is done step by step, learning together from one another as equal partners.

Financing body

We manage, in Romania, the Erasmus+ programme - the largest and most appreciated European programme for mobility in the fields of education, vocational training and youth. We are also the designated body to implement the European Solidarity Corps.
Furthermore, ANPCDEFP is the operator for the Education, Scholarship, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme 2014-2021 funded through the EEA mechanism.

In more than 20 years of existence we have managed over 500 million Euros, invested in about 15,000 projects in the fields of education, vocational training and youth. About 300,000 teachers, students, students, young people, volunteers or youth workers were involved.

With regard to public European money, the financing method is regulated quite strictly, with very clear deadlines and conditions for selection and contracting.

Support

In this sense, through our colleagues working in the project departments, but also with the help of our partner networks of inspectors, trainers and multipliers we have created support mechanisms through which those interested in funding can receive advice and training.
